Comprised of a large group of highly trained Powerline Technicians, K-Line’s Transmission Division has built and maintained thousands of kilometers of transmissions lines both domestically and internationally since 1967.
The Transmission Division of The K-Line Group of Companies constructs, maintains and repairs transmission lines for electric utilities, municipalities and private enterprises. The K-Line team is experienced in a variety of transmission environments, with a strong knowledge of the variables that must be accounted for in both urban and rural settings.
K-Line’s Powerline Technicians are Red Seal certified industry experts and exhibit an unparalleled level of operational excellence in their field. As live line work procedure specialists with dedicated Live Line crews, K-Line’s Powerline Technicians are trained in varying classes of power systems upwards of 500kV.
With access to a large inventory of speciality live-line equipment and temporary supporting devices, including the highly sought after phase lifters and the internally developed K-Arm, K-Line’s Powerline Technicians have the resources to do the job safely and efficiently. K-Line’s rigorous safety program further ensures our Powerline Technicians are highly trained in the most current construction and safety methods, with a special emphasis on maintaining quality.
K-Line’s project management methodology, coupled with our in-house experienced and dedicated Project Managers, guarantee that each transmission project follows a Project Management Process oriented approach; ultimately ensuring the successful completion of the project.
