W1A 72KV Line Rebuild
Project Details
K-Line worked with SaskPower to rebuild the section of line from the Radville tap to the Ogema substation, and this was the second phase in the rebuilding of the entire W1A line. The project consisted of replacing 289 wood structures and reconductor stringing new Hawk 477 conductor and adding 1 new 5/16” OHSW. The existing 1/4” shield wire was replaced with a 5/16” OHSW using reconductor stringing methods. The line is designed and constructed to support up to 138kV for future considerations.
