Parry Sound Battery Storage Facility
Project Details
K-Line Maintenance & Construction completed all medium and low voltage electrical scope for the Parry Sound Battery Energy Storage facility in Parry Sound Ontario. K-Line was partnered with R.B Somerville who completed all site excavation and civil construction required at this site.
K-Line’s scope specifically included the installation of three battery enclosures including all Samsung battery cells, one 44kV-480V three phase power transformer and inverter, one substation control building, one 44kV dead-tank outdoor circuit breaker, three 44kV single phase potential transformers, and one 44kV vertical load-break motorized disconnect switch, all cabling and connections including the overhead tap line to Hydro One’s system.
K-Line utilized K-Tek Electro Services for pre-service testing of all installed equipment prior to handing the site back over to the owner.
