On June 4th, strong winds blew through the area of Coronach, Saskatchewan. Damage was caused to approximately 60 hydro poles and extensive damage was caused to line feeding power to the Poplar River Coal Mine. The Poplar River Coal Mine is a surface coal mine that supplies the coal for one of the provinces coal generation stations. K-Line received an emergency call from SaskPower for assistance in the restoration efforts, and working with SaskPower crews were able to complete the job safely and effectively in three days. See article below for the Thank You letter K-Line received from SaskPower, as well as additional pictures from the restoration. Thank you to our crews for your hard work!
