Lube Technician (Lube Tech)

We are seeking for a Lube Technician to join our team!

Job Overview:

A Lube Technician performs basic heavy duty vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections. The role helps ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently while providing good customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, fluid changes
  •  Check and top off vehicle fluid

•Engine oil
•Coolant
•Lights
•Brake Fluid
•Transmission fluid
•Windshield washer fluid

  •  Rotate and inspect tires
  • Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and air filter
  •  Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate services records
  • Keep work areas clean and safe
  • Recommend maintenance services based on inspection findings
  • Follow shop safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
  • Willing to overnight at multiple locations around the province of Saskatchewan between Monday to Friday, some weekend work maybe required

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic automotive knowledge and equipment
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service skills
  • Automotive service experience and heavy Truck and trailer
  •  Knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules
